Michigan’s 40th House District

Over the past several years, hundreds of friends, neighbors, and colleagues have asked me whether I would ever run for office again.

The answer has always been the same: I would run again if it was the most effective path available to me to improve our health and public health systems… and if the timing was right for my family.  

It has become clear to Val and myself  it’s time for me to get back in the public arena. So, today, I filed to run for Michigan’s 40th House District! 

I hope to earn your support, serve my community, and make it easier for everyone to achieve their optimal health by improving access to health care, reducing health care costs, and protecting our air and water.
